This is me documenting the first embroidering project I have ever done. It is not perfect, there are many mistakes, I am just doing this to track my progress – so please don’t tease!
The lovely Allison over at Little Lovelies has been posting some how-to posts on how to embroider and I thought I would give it a try.
With this project I only used the back stitch, you can learn how to do it here.
First I drew what I wanted to stitch- I just used pen and free-handed it {as you can tell!}
Then I began to stitch..
After that I added some buttons, framed it and put it in my son Wyatt’s room.
This project was so much fun – I will definitely be doing more of this in the near future.
It is a skill I would love to further develop. I can’t wait to attempt this the correct way (with a pattern, correct marker, etc).
