I know, I know.
We’ve been a bit absent lately.
Luckily our kitty (who was diagnosed with pancreatitis) is finally home.
Man, that was scary.
I think we were very – very close to losing her.
Closer than we actually knew.
She was extremely dehydrated, and had to be kept on an IV at the animal hospital for 2 days.
She had stopped eating and drinking.
She had lost almost 2 lbs.
—oh, I can’t even talk about it anymore.
What’s important is that she is home. and she is looking better.
Then as soon as Mason was brought home.
Wyatt spiked a fever.
He is getting in a new front tooth –
and the process is not being kind on him.
So we’ve done lots of snuggling the past few days –
{much of which included Mason as well}
They’re best buds I tell ya.
Luckily my momma gave me a “new” vintage quilt –
and we’ve been able to put that to great use.
Oh, and Wyatt has decided that a cleared bookshelf is the best place to play.
He has started picking up his smaller toys and putting them in the bookshelf.
It’s pretty darn cute.
Off for more quilt//kitty//fussy baby//cuddling.
xo.
Love pictures of sleeping babes! So glad your kitty is doing okay. I used to be a vet tech, and know how scary it can be for pet parents when their fur babies are sick.
Oh I know, me too! It is SO scary when they are sick. Luckily, she is feeling better 🙂
Awwww, poor sweetheart. It’s so tough getting those toofers in. Enjoy the cuddles, though!
I know – it’s so sad! Now on top of the teething – he has a virus 🙁 I’m enjoying the cuddles very much! xo.
