Wow, this week has been crazy.
I’m finally feeling a little bit better from my procedure, but not 100% quite yet.
My brother Alex was sick and in the hospital again – so I had the pleasure of taking care of his little kitten Prudence who needed to go to the vet for some shots/blood work. He was released last night and feeling better so he will be able to spend Christmas with us!
My family from Missouri (dad, step-mom,brother,sister) are all coming up to visit with us just for Saturday morning – we will have our own little Christmas at my house and then head on over to my brothers to hang for a few hours.
THEN, we have a Christmas party that night with my husband’s side of the family.
So, I’ve been scrambling to buy/make/wrap last minute gifts – make food for the parties – clean the house – and finish up with school assignments (due Dec 24th!) and work.
But, I can’t complain because these are all amazing things! I get to spend the entire day tomorrow with my family who I only see about once a year – and then my husbands family who are all such amazing, kind people! It’s going to be crazy and busy – but SO worth it.
So after this weekend I will be ready for some down time – ooooppp. nope.
Then it’s Christmas.
