Hi friends!
Today I wanted to talk to you a bit about Operation Smile.
If you’ve never heard of this cause, you can get all the info here.

Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft. One in 10 of those children will die before their first birthday. The children who survive are often unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some places, they are shunned and rejected. And in too many cases, their parents can’t afford to give them the surgeries they need to live a productive life.” – Operationsmile.com

Operation Smile works with children born with a cleft and gives them a life-saving surgery.
Each time I visit the website to read about all of the children they’ve helped – I can’t help but tear up. They are really changing these children’s lives.

I was contacted by Campus Book Rentals to share a way you can help – just by doing something you might normally do anyway. Buying textbooks! I myself am a college student and I am often in charge of purchasing my own textbooks. Usually, I go to Amazon.com and make a quick order. But now that I know I can help Operation Smile with my purchase from Campus Book Rental – I really don’t see how I could buy a textbook from Amazon again. At Campus Book Rentals you save anywhere between 40% – 90% – and you get free shipping both ways! You can even highlight in your textbooks! They have flexible rental periods and donate a portion of sales to Operation Smile for EACH textbook that’s rented.

I love supporting companies who are generous to those who are in need. Campus Book Rentals is one of these companies. They’ve also just launched Rent Back which is a place you can go to rent your books out to other students!

Wondering how everything works with Campus Book Rentals + Rent Back?
Here are some videos that might help clear things up a bit.

disclosure: I was contacted to write this sponsored post. These are however my 100% honest opinions and I really believe in this cause. I would never feature a company on Songbirds and Buttons that I didn’t fully support.
