Plastic Easter Eggs

Do you have what seems like 100’s of those plastic eggs rolling around your floor?

Wyatt has “hidden” them in so many places and it seems like I find another one every day. I didn’t want to just throw them away – I am all about re-purposing when possible. So I came up with this idea and I really love how it turned out!

It’s such a simple tutorial and I hope you’ll try it with your little one! This is a great craft for ALL ages! Are you ready to check it out? Let’s go!

Simple + Sweet Steps:

1) Paint canvas background a solid color. (you don’t have to do this – I just loved the purple!)
2) Break apart the eggs
3) Use a sponge or paint brush to coat the rims with paint
4) Get to stamping!
5) Re-trace some of the circles with a paint brush to make them thicker – this is optional but when done makes the circles really unique and fun 🙂
6) Line the canvas with your favorite washi tape to finish it off!

So, what do you think?
Will you try this with YOUR little one?
