Lately things have been busy.

Wyatt has been making excellent progress with his speech and we’ve been working really hard at home to do as much as we can! This is his last week of summer speech school before the school year starts! When the school year starts he will go to school once a week for 2 hours ( I go with him too! ) and then his teacher (a speech therapist) will come to our house to work with him once a week too. I’m excited for the additional time and help he will get – and I can’t wait to learn more with him!
Watching how proud he is when he does something that we’ve been working on is amazing – he can now say “ta-da” – “ga-ga” for goldfish and has been saying “momma” lately which is AWESOME! It is the sweetest word I’ve ever heard. It seems like he is just progressing and progressing and William and I are SO proud of him!

He is working on getting used to his new puppy, Emma. He likes to run around with her outside and watch her play with her toys but she is still just a baby too so we’re working on teaching her not to jump or nip at him. Having a puppy has added a lot of hard work to our routine – but it’s well worth it. She’s absolutely adorable and super sweet – and we love having her as a new addition to our family.

I am just so thankful for my family, for the support, and for all of the love. I am still struggling with my worry for Levi, and some days are really rough. But I think I’m doing a little bit better – and we’re working on putting together a “game plan” with the doctors who will be caring for him after he is born. I know it’s going to be really hard at first – but we will get through it. Because we need to be strong for little Levi – and because there is just so much love in our family – and it will pull us through anything.
