“If people are going to buy things. Lots of things. Then let’s use those things they purchase to help change the world around us. Let’s make everyday products for everyday people to solve everyday problems around the globe.” – Tyler Merrick

What am I talking about? I’m talking about Project 7. Their goal is to give back to others, they make everyday products and focus on giving back to seven different areas for good around the globe. It’s a company that makes products for good. They genuinely want to help others, and that in itself is a beautiful thing.

We exist to do good around the globe. We make everyday products like bottled water, gum, mints and coffee that everyday people can buy. For every purchase of a Project 7 product, good is done in seven areas of need: Feed the Hungry, Heal the Sick, Hope for Peace, House the Homeless, Quench the Thirsty, Teach them Well and Save the Earth.” – Project 7

So when I headed to Meijer the other day with Wyatt and William – we picked up 10 packs of gum. We gave one to the cashier – and made plans to give back with the rest of the packs. We took tiny labels and filled them out with positive messages – messages that inspired others to give back too!

We also made a meal together as a family – because sometimes with crazy schedules family time gets pushed aside. And I want that to be the light of our house – our family time. So I whipped up a special meal just to show William and Wyatt how much they are appreciated and loved. I tried a brand-new recipe that I had found on Pinterest for Chicken Enchiladas! You can see the full recipe and instructions here if you’d like to make it too!

To give back even further and show some love, I will be making a meal for my mother. She is always doing so much for us and she works really hard. She is always there for Wyatt, always steps in and watches him when we need her – it’s a huge blessing and she needs to be thanked. Don’t you think? 🙂

It was a huge hit – William LOVED it. And it made me feel good to give back – to show my husband how important he is to me. And who got the gum? Well one pack went to my hubby, one went in my purse, and the rest will be handed out by Wyatt and I. We are hoping that by handing out the gum – it will educate people about the Project 7 brand and encourage them to purchase Project 7 goods when possible! If you’re wondering where you can find Project 7 goods you can search for your nearest retailer here.

And if you need more inspiration to give back – just read the Project 7 mission statement and check out the video below. Giving back doesn’t have to be hard, it can be as simple as purchasing a pack of gum. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture – any small contribution helps! And with all of the hate and negativity in the world – we could all really benefit from a little more kindness, don’t you think?

PROJECT 7 MISSION STATEMENT:

To ensure everyone around the globe has access to fundamental human needs for a healthy life.
