Hello everyone! Mindy here with Budget Fairy Tale, and I first want to say a big THANK YOU to Kendall for letting me guest post on Songbirds and Buttons while she is taking some important time off!

This is a really simple gold-dipped DIY to jazz up your fall pumpkins. For this tutorial, I used mini pumpkins but you could very easily do this for normal pumpkins, too!

Supply List:

  • Pumpkins!
  • Gold Spray Paint Painters Tape

Step 1: Take your painters tape and tape off the section you don’t want to be painted. For this example, I applied the tape on a diagonal. Go slow and be sure to push the tape down into all the “groves” of the pumpkin so you don’t get any paint leakage.

Step 2: Spray the exposed part of the pumpkin with gold spray paint. Apply evenly to avoid drips. Allow the pain to dry for at least 30 minutes.

Step 3: Slowly remove the painters tape. You should be left with a nice, crisp line but don’t worry if it’s not totally perfect – mine wasn’t!

And that’s it! Didn’t I say it was easy? And the best part about this project is you can use whatever color paint matches your decor. What color will you use for your dipped pumpkins?
