Let’s be honest – when you’re little one isn’t feeling well – you aren’t feeling well. It shakes me up inside when Wyatt catches a bug and feels crummy. I just want to do everything possible to make him comfortable and to get him better. And sometimes it takes hours to get Wyatt seen by his doctor. That’s where Walgreens Healthcare Clinics come in – the closest one to us is the Healthcare Clinic Chicago but I have my fingers crossed that they will soon have a location closer to us!
I was checking out the Healthcare Clinic website the other day and I couldn’t believe how many awesome features they have! You can walk-in with your child 7 days a week and weeknights too! They accept most insurances, and treat patients 18 months and older. They also have board-certified family Nurse Practitioners and as soon as you get your prescription you can get it filled right on site!
It’s pretty much your one-stop-shop for all of your healthcare needs. Right from the website you can search for your nearest location and even see what the wait times are! How convenient is that? Seriously!
You can also schedule appointments and learn all about insurances that are accepted and fees that may occur. If you’re a planner like me and you have one of these facilities near you – I would save this web address in case you need it when you’re in a bind.

I love the idea of being able to get your Rx filled at the same place you get your medical treatment. That would be huge for me as a mom. I hate having to drag a sick kid from doctor to pharmacy. ugh!
