Hello friends, Happy Monday!
It’s officially Earth Month, so I thought we should talk about energy efficiency a bit. Our energy bill is outrageous, with 4 people in the house, electronics, etc – we are constantly using it! I wanted to find ways that I could cut back on the amount of energy that we used in our house, so I looked into LED lights. I had heard wonderful things about LED power, and it was time to put it to the test!
I headed over to Walmart to check out the GE LED selection and found so many different kinds of bulbs – I could literally replace every size I had in my home!
Here are some of the main reasons I purchased LED bulbs:
- 1 LED Bulb lasts as long as 15 traditional incandescent bulbs
- Use 80% less energy (80% LESS PEOPLE!)
- Helps you save $$ on your electric bill!
So, we picked up a few bulbs and replaced the bulbs in the lights that we use most often. I put my hubby to work so I could snap some photo’s. 😉
The bulbs were bright – and fit just like an ordinary bulb. Except, these babies will save us money and last us longer!

I have seen these at WalMart but haven’t wanted to pay the price cause I didn’t know if they were worth it. I’ll be checking them out later 🙂
They’re more expensive but you won’t have to replace your bulbs as often and they use less energy so they’ll save electricity! Over time they’ll pay for themselves! 🙂
We LOVE GE, we use the reveal lights but I need to branch out and try some others!

We have quite a few different shaped lights in our home too and I love they can all be replaced with GE Energy Smart bulbs. It sounds like you are on your way to a lower electric bill! Exciting! #client
