Disclosure: I was sent the following cases for review – all opinions are 100% my own.

Hey there! Today we’re going to talk phone cases – because when you have a toddler that loves to use your phone you’ve got to have something tough! We have a few apps downloaded onto my phone specifically for Wyatt. These are great to have in case of an emergency – you know, when your kid is screaming and you just need to check-out at the store with your cart full of groceries because, well… you need to eat!  Just an example… ๐Ÿ™‚

Since I got my iPhone last year I’ve always wanted to try Otterbox cases. I had heard that they’re the best for moms, or anyone who has their phone dropped on a regular basis (which I do).

Both cases I got are from the Defender Series – I chose the 4s Defender Series Camo and the Defender Series Graphic case to put to the test. When I opened the cases I couldn’t believe how many layers of protection there were – three! It has a high-impact shell, a silicone slipcover and a built-in screen protector! It protects from liquid drops, dust, damage, and pretty much everything else you’ll come across on a daily basis.

We have dropped the phone, it’s gotten wet from the sprinkler outside and it has been touched and used by sticky toddler fingers. It’s so easy to wipe clean when anything gets on it and I love that it is protected from being scratched or damaged. Otterboxes are definitely a bit on the pricey side but I really believe that they’re worth it!

I’ve seen (and used) other phone cases – the plastic ones that just snap onto the back. That’s not going to do anything to protect your phone when you drop it and I’ve heard the horror stories of people dropping and shattering their screens.  EEE.

After trying out these two cases I have to say I’m completely sold on Otterbox – they’re definitely the best phone case I’ve ever used! And there are so many designs that I want to try in the Defender Series like the Sublime and Perennial.
