This time of year is just absolutely crazy with the upcoming holidays. I needed a little break to just have a night to relax. While shopping at Walmart I found this display with movies and snacks. It seemed so perfect, and was so simple to grab everything I needed for a fun movie night all in one place!
I picked up some M&M’sยฎ, Orville Redenbacher’s, and a Warner Brothers movie for William and I to watch. I set out everything on the kitchen table earlier in the day so all day when I was hard at work I could have a movie night and fun snacks to look forward to! I have heard such awesome things about the movie I chose so I was so excited to watch it! Plus, sometimes you just need to watch a comedy movie – you can never laugh too much in life, right?!
Then later that night, after we put the kids to bed I popped some delicious popcorn and was transported into a land of buttery scents! I love having popcorn when I watch movies! Don’t you? And, boy. Does Orville Redenbacher’s know their way around a bag of popcorn. YUM.
And when you’ve got salty – you know you need sweet! William and I love to pour some M&M’sยฎ, almonds, and peanuts over popcorn and mix it together for a sweet & salty snack. It is so delicious!
So, now I bet you want to have a movie night, right?! Just head to Walmart and find the display – everything you need will be there!

What are your must-haves for a movie night?
We can’t watch a movie without popcorn. It’s just not the same.
Popcorn is always a must have on movie night. I always put M&Ms in my popcorn. I’ve never put nuts in it, but I will now. Yum.
A movie without popcorn and some kind of choclate–not happening! I could use a comedy about now—-

I love to make popcorn for our snack when we watch a movie. I also make a trail mix and have a mix of candies.

Those are just what I need for family movie nights. We love renting DVD/Bluray’s but we never seem to have enough snacks to munch on while watching. I think I’ll go back to serving popcorns again. ๐
