Happy, happy Monday!

My most dreaded task in the whole world is doing the dishes. Our home does not have a dishwasher so the days of washing and drying in a drying rack are present 365 days a year for us. Yup, I was our dishes by hand, all of them. Cleaning the kitchen is the worst, but Palmolive® Multi Surface makes it a teeny bit easier. This stuff is really amazing – you can use it to clean your dishes AND kitchen surfaces!

Palmolive® Multi Surface eliminates 99.9% of bacteria (*staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica and E. coli ((157:H7)) from dishes and hard non porous kitchen surfaces. I use it for dishes, wiping off the stove, countertops, etc. It’s so handy to have one product in the kitchen that can be used for multiple things.

Where did I find such a gem of a product? I knew you were going to ask that! I found it at Walmart right in the dish detergent aisle, and I know this is odd – but it’s got the most beautiful teal coloring to it! Yup, I’m a total weirdo who considers color when purchasing dish detergent. I usually do the dishes at night when the day is over and the kiddos are in bed. Sometimes it’s quite relaxing with the warm water, music playing, and the window cracked open just enough to feel the breeze. Kinda makes me want to do dishes right now…

Here’s an aisle pic from Walmart in case you need help locating the item, because you should totally check it out :

So, there you have it, the secret to how I do the dishes. A lot of Pandora radio, kids in bed, windows open, and Palmolive®. Doing the dishes is such a common task, and I love that there is something like this that helps to make keeping a clean kitchen just a little bit easier!

So tell me, what’s YOUR dish routine?
