Cute + Simple Teacher Gift Idea

Hope you’re having a great day so far. We’ve been sick over in our house for the past week, and busy packing for our big move. I’ve been trying to rest whenever possible, and have been drinking lots of tea with lemon and honey. I feel like I’ve been appreciating tea more and more lately, as I always find myself craving it. Bigelow Tea is my absolute favorite, they alway have the best variety! I have a friend who is also a tea lover, and I wanted to create a simple gift idea that incorporates tea, and relaxation. I think I came up with something pretty simple and cute! She’s also a teacher, so this gift is perfect to hand out this year as a cute teacher gift!

I headed to Walmart and picked up everything I needed there, there is nothing better than one-stop shopping, am I right?

You’ll Need:

– A variety of tea bags. I’m using Bigelow Tea in the flavors Pumpkin Spice and Salted Caramel.

– A good-sized mug (it’s the gift that keeps on giving!) I got mine at Walmart while shopping, isn’t it cute?

– A honey bear, I just love these, don’t you?

– Lemons

– Twine

– A gift tag

Steps:

Grab your mug and place a lemon in the bottom.
Open your tea boxes and grab a handful of tea bags.
Place your honey bear in the center of the mug on top of the lemon, and begin filling the space around him with tea bags. The lemon at the bottom gives him just the boost he needs to peek over the top of the mug. 🙂
Once you’re done filling, grab your twine and cut a long piece that can wrap around the mug several times. Secure it by tying a knot and move the knot to the back of the mug.
Fill out your gift tag and tie it onto one of the strands of the twine.

This gift idea would work great for a simple and easy teachers gift that can be handed out to show appreciation at any time throughout the year! And we all know they need a little relaxation like the rest of us after a long day of helping students!
