Hello, friends!
Hope you’re having a great day so far! I am really excited about today’s post, because I’m kind of a dork when it comes to putting together gift baskets. A friend of mine recently purchased their first house and the first thing that came to mind was — GIFT BASKET! I started dreaming up what essentials I would include and I thought I’d take you along too!

I headed to Target to check out the cleaning section. Right now they have a Buy 3, get 1 free on Lysol product deal (Offer valid 3/27 โ€“ 5/14/16) so I knew I wanted to take advantage of that! PLUS, on top of that Target also has a Cartwheel Offer for 10% off all Lysol Cleaning Products (Running 3/27-5/14), so you can get some great deals!

Step One | Basket

So, like all good gift baskets, you first need to find the best basket! I found this one in the clearance section of Target and thought it was too cute to pass up (I may have stuck an extra in my cart, too).

Step Two | Towels

The next thing I did was pick up a couple of cute kitchen towels. I layered them over the back of the basket to add a pop of color! I thought these striped and solid teal towels were too cute to pass up.

Step Three | Add in a few products

I picked up a variety of Lysol products, I love Lysol because products kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, so they’re a great staple for any home.

Step Four | Layer in More

I wanted to make sure I hit various areas of the home in this gift basket. And I thought it was important to include the toilet, too! I love this Lysol Click Gel our toilets, because cleaning that area is my least favorite and anything to make it easier is a win in my books! Plus, they’re pretty and purple ๐Ÿ™‚

Step Five | Don’t forget the dishes!

Don’t let the dishes get overlooked, be sure to include something that helps your friend tackle this area of the house, too! We have been loving this Finish Rinse Aid. It helps keep our glasses spotless and clean – it’s so simple to add and really makes a big difference!

  • Time Saver Tip: Use a rinse aid in your dishwasher and your plastics will be drier when you put them away!

* Be sure to take advantage of the  Target Cartwheel Offer for 5% off all Finish Products. (Running 3/27-5/14). So much savings in today’s post! ๐Ÿ™‚

Step Six | Scent

Another must-haves are these Air Wickยฎ Scented Oil Warmers. They work really well and provide consistent, long-lasting fragrance to our home. I chose this amazing scent called Paradise Retreat, perfect for spring/summer! I love that my friend will be able to easily plug these in to really set the tone for relaxation in her home!

* There is also a Target Cartwheel Offer for 5% off all Air Wick Products, (Running 3/27-5/14)!

Step Seven | It’s all about the sponges

Making cleaning fun is so important for me. And that’s something I want to incorporate into this basket in every way possible. I don’t know about you – but when I have the choice between a boring old sponge and a fun, bright one – I go with the fun one! Levi’s favorite color is purple, and he was shopping with me at Target so I let him choose – I think he did pretty good! ๐Ÿ™‚
