#CelebrateOutdoors Event with Cost Plus World Market

Hi, friends!

As you may or may not know, I had the pleasure of attending the #CelebrateOutdoors event this past Saturday in Santa Monica, California for Cost Plus World Market. I boarded my plane around 8am and thought the flight was going to be long and uneventful, little did I know some planes have televisions now, WHAT? I was able to binge watch Big Bang Theory and also watch You’ve Got Mail and the movie The Intern (which I wasn’t able to finish, no spoilers!).

I arrived in LA and waiting for my BFF‘s plane to land, then we drove together. The beach house where the event was held was absolutely breathtaking. Everything was perfectly decked out and decorated in World Market fashion, and it looked incredible! Here’s a peek at the inside of the home, areas were designed by Anne Sage, I just love the items she chose to really blend with the style of the home.

Gorgeous, right? Those exposed beams on the ceiling were pretty incredible. Actually, the whole house was – World Market could not have chosen a better space for the party. Now, let’s take a peek at the outside / pool area designed by Justina Blakeney (one of my favorites!).

So so pretty – the atmosphere was just so relaxing and inviting! There was even a Create Your Own Terrarium station where guests were able to create their own to take home! Bloggers Cori and April did a great job with the area and they both are just absolutely hilarious and a joy to be around! Definitely made some new friends there 😉

I had the pleasure of creating an outdoors kids area on the beach for guests with little ones. We had all kinds of fun sand toys (this dino kit was a big hit!), sitting areas, and activities to keep the kids busy during the event.

The event was amazing – Heffron Drive preformed and I got to meet a fellow Kendall, so that is always good fun! I also was able to chat with Lesley Nicol who is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, I’m so grateful to have been able to spend some time with her!

I had SUCH a great time seeing (and meeting) so many people who I’ve online known from online. The internet is a weird thing, but it sure does bring people together. My amazing friend Carly attended the event as well and brought her adorable daughter, Lydia (same age as Levi) so it was so great to be able to chat with them as well! Thanks for the ride to the airport, Carly!

Days after the event I’m still sitting here thinking about how absolutely gorgeous Santa Monica was, the perfect place for this event – World Market couldn’t have done a better job! They must have an amazing team 😉

World Market looks like just the place for us to get all our deck accessories this summer. I love everything in those pictures. Beautiful!

I miss World Market SO MUCH. We don’t have them here in the south, but when I was in San Diego I was there all the time. They had the best stuff – from greeting cards, to wrapping paper to furniture and wines…ahhh I love that place.

What an amazing event to get to attend!! We are always hosting friends and outdoor get togethers.

I really do hope World Market would be everywhere! I love all that beautiful furniture and decor! So nice and appealing. Even the chairs look so comfy even in pictures!
