Ever since we’ve moved into the new house we’ve been going room by room and re-decorating. But, because this is expensive to do – we’ve been moving slowly. One of the rooms that I can’t wait to re-do is our bedroom. I always feel like the other rooms in the house get more attention because they are the rooms that everyone sees when they come over. No one hangs out in our bedroom except for us – but I still feel like I would like to make it a relaxing space to spend time in at the end of a long day.

Here are a few photos of what our room looks like now:

See what I mean? This room hasn’t gotten much attention at all since we’ve moved in. In fact, there are still some moving boxes stacked in the corner (hangs head in shame). But – on the bright side…

Bedroom Makeover

I love the look of mixed colors and not just having a room fit a theme. So I chose some different colors, patterns, and textures to break up the space a bit. I love the deep purple with teal though, don’t you? 

So, now I’m curious.
