Hope you’re having a great Monday! Today I’m here to talk about the Hunger Heros campaign at Sam’s Club. The Hunger Heroes campaign is all about taking action. It turns regular families (like yourselves) into superheros through the power of giving.
The details: Tyson & Kraft will donate a helping of nourishment each time a Tyson® Fully-Cooked Chicken Nuggets 5 lb. bag, a KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner 7.25 oz. 12-pack, and/or a Capri-Sun 6 oz. 40-pack are purchased at Sam’s Club during the month of August!
We went and shopped early so I could photograph the exact items for ya! Just see the image below for where I found each item in my store:
We stocked up on these items, but since the campaign hasn’t started yet we decided to be Hunger Heros in our own community! Wyatt and I bagged up the items and brought them to a local food bank. Wyatt wore his super hero shirt just for the occasion! We were able to donate each item (we were told we gave 30lbs!) and the ladies inside thanked Wyatt for helping!
It was a great experience and I think Wyatt really enjoyed going inside and helping me drop off the food. Having a giving heart is such an amazing thing and it’s definitely something I want to pass down to my kids. I want to make an effort to do more things like this with them – donate, volunteer, and show kindness whenever possible. I am so happy that we were able to do this through #HungerHeros!
So mark your calendars for August so you can visit your local Sam’s Club to be a #HungerHero as well! Remember – buy any of these products at Sam’s Club in August, and you’ll be feeding a child in need* if these are staples in your household, make sure you stock up!
Qualifying Items: * 4oz. of protein, 6 fl. oz. CAPRI SUN, and/or 2.5 oz. of KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinners.

Good for you showing your little guy what it means to give to others! It’s something I try to instill in my children every chance I get. I want them to understand that so much of what they take for granted is in fact a privilege and that they should be grateful for everything they have everyday,
