My goodness.
Our first day of vacation was just lovely.
We left our house with coffee and our new Christmas cd in hand and hit the road.
When we checked into our room I couldn’t believe how nice it was.
We sprang for the fancy room for the first night – since it was our anniversary.
Wyatt played in the pool of a tub for literally an hour and a half.
He didn’t want to get out.
The balcony and view from it was amazing –
Willow trees and a river.
Taking my coffee out there the next morning and soaking it all in was so relaxing.

Wyatt loved the king sized bed.
LOVED it.
I am not joking when I say that –
This kid is made for hotel living.
As you can tell by the numerous smiling pictures –
he had the time of his life.

We explored the hotel together and discovered a play land & game room.

And of course we couldn’t leave the game room until we won something for Wyatt.
This was just the first of many prizes from the trip.
Every time Wyatt would walk by it – he would think it was real.
So there it is – part one of our trip.
After the game room we went back to bed and passed out for the night.
Wyatt did not like sleeping at the hotel – he woke up screaming multiple times each night.
Which meant William and I didn’t sleep good either.
In fact, I may just have to join Wyatt for his afternoon nap today –
because I’m still catching up!
