Snowflakes for Sandy Hook

Hi friends!
Have a piece of paper, a pair of scissors, some time, and a stamp?
Why not take part in Snowflakes for Sandy Hook!

“Please help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school!
Get Creative!!  No two snowflakes are alike. The snowflakes will be displayed at Chalk Hill, the new home to the children of Sandy Hook.” – via

This is such a fun activity to do with your family.
And don’t be embarrassed if you’ve completely forgotten how to make one.
That’s what Google is for my friends.
William & I got out some paper and got to work last night…
At first it didn’t go so smoothly…..

But we eventually figured it out – and whipped up several snowflakes to send.

We’re going to get Wyatt involved too. He is too little to make a snowflake himself, so we are letting him decorate the ones that we’ve cut out. We are going to bust out the glitter, glue, markers, crayons and let him be a part of this awesome project.

Just think, a snowflake you make will be hanging in the new school.

Imagine what the children will think when they walk into school and see snowflakes everywhere!
What an amazing thing to be apart of!

So, will you join me in sending them?
Let me know in the comments!
