Changes: Look, sponsors, products, & more.

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!

I just wanted to talk to you about some changes that have {and are currently} being made to the blog.
Let me start by saying- I never wanted this blog to be “all about the money” and it won’t ever be that way. But, I am spending so much time blogging- and times are tough financially, so I am making a few minor changes that should help both of us out. And I’m disclosing them all to you now.

First thing, the look is different-

It took me forever to figure out but I hope some of you can see a difference, lol.

I used this tutorial to make my blog header- and it was really simple!

I’m loving the clean, fresh look of the blog. I’m a sucker for a white background.

Second : Product Reviews

I was starting to feel like this blog was getting to be too much.

And the whole reason I started it was supposed to be because I enjoyed it!

Right?

I’ve been spending so much time working with product reviews-

and I know these sound great- but they’re actually a lot of work.

You get the product- have to take pictures, test it out, and then write up a post, etc. etc.

I wanted to start product reviews because I remembered what it was like being pregnant with Wyatt and having no idea what things I needed, what I didn’t, etc.

I wanted to turn this into a place where you could discover new things-

and where I could give myhonest opinion {it will always be this way}.

But, this venture has started to take time away from my family, time that is precious to me.

So, if I do any more product reviews in the future- they will have to be sponsored – I’m not going to charge an arm or a leg, just a few bucks.

Just throwing that out there- because I believe in honesty– and I would love to earn a little income from the blog to sustain it and maybe buy a pack or two of diapers for Mr. Wyatt, ya know?

I do already have some reviews already scheduled – but after that this new plan, “project diapers” will go into effect.

Third: Sponsors

I am now accepting sponsors, again part of “project diapers”,

Just wanted to share those things with you. I hope you’ll understand. I always feel a bit awkward going to a blog and reading a post that I know is sponsored, but having that hidden. I don’t want to hide a thing from you.
