I wish I could say that Wyatt’s first birthday party went exactly as I had pictured.
But, that would be lying.
The fact was – baby boy had a 102 fever and was cutting a tooth.
So from start to {almost} finish – he cried & screamed & cried some more.
We actually had to leave before we even opened any presents.
Spent the whole rest of the night snuggled up – watching his favorite videos.
But, that’s okay. There will be other birthdays.
Today he just needed to take it easy.
It was nice to have so many good friends and family there to be so understanding when we had to leave- I felt terrible but it was what was best for Wyatt. I just got off the phone with his pediatrician and he said Wyatt may have caught a virus. So we’ll be homebodies until he feels better.
o no! that’s so sad! i hope he feels better!!

Hi Irene! Yes! I made a lot of these things myself! Wyatt is having another b-day party for the other side of the family next weekend so I will be sure to take better pictures- before the party this time so you can see everything better! Thanks for following ๐ Glad to have you here!
Such a cute theme ๐ So sorry that he got a fever, I have been there before, my twins at there 1st birthday party both had a fever and it was just a mess. But its ok you can write that down in your baby book and be able to look back on it. Thanks for sharing.
Oh it was just so sad! He was not up for his party at all. This will definitely go down in his baby book ๐ I hear that most 1st birthdays are like this {something always goes wrong} lol.
Awww.. what a sweet party theme! Im sorry your little guy wasnt feeling so hot! Our son turned one in April and he slept through his whole birthday party because he wast feeling good. So I know how ya feel ๐
