Whenever we are traveling we do the best we can to make the road trip fun and exciting for everyone involved. This includes treating ourselves, the adults, to some chocolate and Dr pepper! It’s kind of a tradition, we always stock up at the Walmart before taking off. Everything is right by the registers! I get a diet and William gets a regular and we grab some SNICKERS® 2-to-go (it’s broken up into 2 pieces so you can share or twist the top to save for later). 

We ended up driving out to Detroit to catch a ballgame together! It was so much fun! And we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day! The little mini road trip was great because we could just drive and talk without interruption from our little ones. 🙂

The game wasn’t so great – the Tigers lost, but spending a little quality time together was amazing! It was the perfect day date 🙂
