sometimes things get really hard.
and you feel as if you’re stuck in a deep hole –
and when you try to dig your way out –
you only make the hole deeper.
i can not exactly identify the point where i got in the hole,
maybe the hardships i’ve been having were bottled up.
and the cork finally popped.
whatever the case may be,
i was there.
in that hole.
feeling sad and alone.
and then i came across this quote on pinterest:
it’s amazing the power words can have.
they have the ability to alter your mood –
to make you reconsider.
to lift you up.
and in this case, lift me up.
because the more i thought about it,
the more i considered this message.
the more i believed it.
yeah, right now things might be rough.
but can you imagine how great the future will be in comparison?
i am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.
and I can’t wait to find out what that reason is.
i totally agree. great quote 🙂
thank you mrs. baker 🙂
i love the inspiration behind powerful words. i live by them and find myself scribbling them down when i hear a good one. i love this quote you have posted. it gives off such a positive vibe!
Oh, me too! When I find one I like – I immediately print it out or jot it down. I’ve got so many on my fridge!
This is so true. I got a fortune cookie the other day that just turned my perspective around. It was as simple as “No need to worry. You will always have everything that you need.” Maybe not everything I want, but I will always have what is most important.
Wow – what a great fortune! And an even better lesson! Thank you so much for sharing! xo.
