So..I MADE A MISTAKE….
I let the words of a few internet trolls take me down. On Wednesday I woke up to some hateful words from people I donโt even know. And to be honest this has been happening more and more as this little space on Instagram grows. Anywho, they were hateful words from hateful people and instead of blocking them all & ignoring them like I usually do, they just happened to catch me at a weak point, and I absorbed them. I believed them. I felt terrible.
This self-love journey isnโt straightforward, itโs not finished, and it sure as heck isnโt easy. I wanted to share this experience because I know Iโm not alone. Those mean comments, those are from people that take. Because even though theyโre not physically taking something from you, emotionally they are. And that still matters. But those are not the people that LOVE you. Refocus on the people that do. Soak in their love. Because the rest simply doesnโt matter. โค๏ธ
