Oh, friends.
It is seriously beautiful outside.
Everywhere you look – it’s white.
All of the trees, building, streets, and cars are covered in a light dusting of powder.
It’s my favorite time of year.
I love fall – I love the colors.
But there is something so simple, so pure, about a snowy landscape.
And it is just so beautiful to me.
We stayed in all day yesterday.
I cooked some amazing Spicy Chicken Tortilla soup while jamming out to Rufus Wainwright.
Wyatt, William, and I read some great books under some very cozy blankets.
And Wyatt and I spent about 2 hours putting his train table back together only to have him destroy it minutes after we finished. But, I figured it would just give us something to do on our next snowy day in – right?
Days like this are so nice to have – even if it’s only once in awhile.
I put on no makeup, I didn’t even change out of my pajamas.
Just relaxed and made sure to enjoy it.
The snow is so beautiful. I love snow. A lot. I wish we would have gotten more here in St. Louis. But, I’m not giving up hope…there is still time left in winter. ๐
Oh, honey. I know all about that! I was born in Missouri! ๐ Sending lots of snowy vibes your way!
That first picture is gorgeous! And weird to look at because it was over 70F here today!
