Hey everyone!
Today I am sharing a really easy recipe for some Very Berry Lemon Water. I’ve completely cut caffeine out of my diet since learning I was pregnant (I did the same thing with Wyatt). So finding drink alternatives has been kind of hard. I’ve really grown fond of the Starbucks Tazo Lemonade Iced Tea but I really can’t hack the price tag. So I decided to whip something up on my own – and it actually tastes really similar to the Starbucks drink – and it doesn’t even contain tea!
Here’s how I made it:
- Cut up 3 lemons and add to bottom of pitcher (I got my refrigerator container at Walmart)
- Purchase 1lb bag of Berry Medley (contains strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and red raspberries) – and add to pitcher.
- Fill with water.
- Let sit overnight.
- Wake up, and enjoy a fresh ice-cold glass of goodness!
This is seriously so easy, and so good. Buying the fruit frozen in the mixed bag really cut down on the cost. And I was really shocked at how good it turned out. I thought it would taste too “watery” but it is so flavorful! The lemons and berries really mix well together – and overnight it turns into a pretty pink hue.
Looks delicious! I need to make some now ๐
Yes! You do! It’s soo good!
Perfect summer treat!
It’s so cold because it sits overnight with the frozen berries! Perfect for a hot day!
Yum! This sounds so refreshing & so delicious!
and easy!! ๐
I don’t like flavored water, however, my hubby hates plain water and loves adding flavors. We’ve recently found out he’s allergic to the Mio’s so this will be a good option for him. I’m going to show him this ๐
Yes! You should! It gives it TONS of flavor!
That looks so refreshing… I cut down on caffeine too, but not because of pregnancy. Mostly due to our move, I haven’t found coffee I like yet.
I hope you try this – it’s very yummy!
Oh my gosh, I so need to make this!!! It looks and sounds so tasty!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
No problem! I love it because it’s just so easy!
Love it! I do this all the time. So tasty. Ive tried to cut out caffeine before and I almost died. So hard.
Isn’t it good? Oh, you can cut out caffeine! It’s easier to do when you’re pregnant though. But right after I have this baby I’m heading to Starbucks! ๐
Yum-o!!
Thanks Jenn!
That looks so delish! I’ll have to try it one day!
Yes! You should! It’s very good ๐

I have never thought of adding berries, especially frozen. Totally doing this this weekend! Those frozen berries are delish.

Need to try that next time..!! ever since I saw it on your instagram feed. ๐
Thanks for sharing. I will have to try this. I have been drinking water with lemons in it every day for a while now – the berries would be a nice change to it. http://www.kimberleeskorner.com/blog
Could you put more water in the pitcher and get a second use out of that fruit?
Yeah, definitely!
I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your site. Do you
ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A couple of my blog audience have complained about
my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any advice to help fix this problem?
How big is your water pitcher? Wondering how much water to add to this recipe…
Hi! i was just curious as to what size water dispenser you used?
-Thanks!
