Hey everyone! Happy Friday! (it’s finally here!)
Today I’m sharing a list of fun road trip activities for kids! Most of these are just things that are simple and easy to grab, throw in a bag, and hit the road. So make sure you’re prepared for your next road trip by bringing these items – you can thank me later!
Road Trip Activities for Kids:
- Favorite Books
- Crayons & Markers
- Coloring Books
- Magna Doodle – This is great for SO many games. Think hangman, tic-tac-toe, etc.
- Travel Games
- Legos
- Car Bingo – Just google “car bingo” and you’ll find all sorts of free printables!
And, as always – you must have a great car to road trip in, right? I’ve highlighted a few vehicles in previous posts and today I’m going to add to the list – The 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. I’ve always loved Jeeps! This is SUV style with lots of interior room! Perfect for stretching out those legs and having some space!
Do you have other road trip must-haves?
Please leave them in the comments below!
Road trip must-haves: a good audiobook and peanut m&ms!
Yumm! M&M’s! Didn’t even think about chocolate!! That’s definitely a must-have!
This is such perfect timing. We will be taking a road trip with the kiddos in a couple of months and will be packing those travel games and more! Not sure I will let them take Legos in the car, though…. lol
Thanks for the fun ideas!
Why not? Legos are great for the car! Don’t be afraid of the mess momma!
We always have a Magna Doodle!
Aren’t they the best? Wyatt LOVES his!
Now that we’re a teenager, we have to have all our technology on roadtrips. However, we still love arts and crafts!
Ya gotta love Arts and Crafts 😉
Ipad to watch movies on. When we take trips, my girls always and still do take iPads/laptops to watch movies. Crossword/Word Searches are great for older kids too.
