Hey, friends!
Hope you’re having a lovely week so far! I’ve been sick and a little out of it but I’m on the up-and-up now and can’t wait to get back to things full force! Today I wanted to talk to you about the NewAir AF-1000R Portable Evaporative Cooler. The other day we talked a little bit about the Luma Comfort EC45S but I wanted to branch out a bit and show you an evaporative cooler with a bit of a funky and fun design too! I mean, how awesome is this RED?!
We’ve talked about how I like to save money, and this evaporative cooler does just that. Instead of running our window unit air conditioners we can run these – which use a lot less electricity and are better looking to boot! I mean, these are a lot more stylish than having air units hanging out of your windows. Especially ones that were made in the early 80’s (you know, when mustard yellow was popular). The only homes these wouldn’t work in are homes that located in areas with high humidity. If you live in a humid area this would only work as a fan. But for those of you who live in dry areas – stock up! Because these babies can save you some serious money! They are guaranteed to save you money when compared to traditional air conditioners powered by refrigerants and they can change the temperature in a given space by 30 degrees! They’re perfect for any area of the house – lightweight so you can move them around, easy to set up, and would look great with any decor! For some reason this one gives me a bit of a retro feel – how cool would this look in a cute kitchen with pops of cherry red? Or even a man cave?
What I love the most is that this does not require harmful chemicals to work. And that makes me feel good about running one in our household. Another plus is that it not only cools the air – it purifies it too! So you’re breathing in cleaner, fresher air! Have I sold you on these babies yet – because I am just in love! I want to get one for every room!

What do you think of this evaporative cooler?
Could you use one in your home?
Those really are nice looking–too bad I live in a HIGH humidity area-especially this year it seems!
That is a great alternative to window units, which is what I have.
I for sure could use this in our home. I love the fact that it purifies the air. Very important!
I need one of these!! Seriously, this would be perfect for Alaska! Send me all the cool stuff you keep getting!! ๐
Sounds great. Especially for people with allergies.
We could really use this in our home. Its really neat and I love how it looks.
Finding chemical free products is so hard to come by these days…and in my house where allergies are pretty prominent year round, we so could use this!!
This looks like an awesome product! We put central A/C in a couple years ago but this would be great for the bedroom if we didn’t want to turn the A/C on!
You are so right, this looks WAY better than a window unit! Keepin’ cool is fashionable! ๐
I love the red! I bet this comes in handy…we use central air thank goodness bc living in the south is hot and humid.
Very cool! However, it’s definitely HIGH humidity here, so I don’t think it would work too well for us.
Sounds like a great product for those who can’t have AC’s in their homes. A really great alternative.
We had something like this when we lived in NC b/c our AC was on the fritz and it worked like crap. This one sounds MUCH better than the one we had though. Might have to talk to Travis about getting one of these to put in our bedroom.
What a great idea! Love the design too.
I don’t know that it is something I would get a ton of use out of here in AZ – almost everything has central air BUT back in NY where I grew up and my family still is they don’t have central AC and this would be awesome !!! Or maybe in a garage out here in AZ if hubby want to work on a project ?
This would be great to have! Seriously the fact that the design is too cool doesn’t hurt either!
This is one fancy cooler! I love the sleek design!
I SO need one of these, so cool!
So glad to know no harmful chemicals are needed to make this cooler work. Thanks so much for the insights.
