Hello friends!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week. This whole motherhood thing has gotten my schedule completely backwards {most of the time, I don’t even know what day it is}, but I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. It’s the most amazing thing, and I really couldn’t be happier. Who needs sleep {or a shower}! My little man Wyatt {who has acquired the nickname “muffin”} is doing so well and growing stronger by the day. My husband William and I are moving at the end of the month so things have been a little hectic and my crafting has been put on the back burner so for the time being I will be posting about decorating ideas and simple DIY projects until I get my feet back on the ground.

I love moving to a new place- it’s a clean slate! Everything can be changed, re-organized and re-decorated. I think my sense of style has really changed within the past year, I seem to lean towards lighter colors and more country chic decorations. I was browsing Countryliving.com and came across these wonderful living rooms that really set off some light bulbs in my head.

I love how simple details can transform a whole room. Like adding a pop of color with the flowers and a bit of texture with the basket.

The worn paint look on the fireplace and tables make me swoon, I love this look.

I’m drawn to the different patterns of pillows on this couch, the wicker chair and the unique style of the coffee table.

And saving the best for last.. I really love the white and blue combo here. I think this sky blue color just knocked sage green from my favorite color spot. I am so excited to get started decorating our new place! And I will document it all here ๐Ÿ™‚

And I as the proud mama I am, here’s Wyatt being the little angel that he is!

Many boxes, ideas, and diapers to go…
