First trip to the cider mill this year.
And it was such a great one.

Earlier in the day I had gone to the dentist – and learned that I needed 7 fillings and all 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed. If you don’t go to the dentist for 8 years – this will happen. Lesson learned. So, I was not happy. We needed to do something to lift my spirits – so we decided that going to the cider mill was a great solution.

I mean, who could go to the cider mill and not have fun? Right?

I loved watching Wyatt walk around the pumpkins, barely touching each one with his little dimpled hand. It was very similar to a game of duck-duck-goose, except with pumpkins, and he was kind of playing alone. It took us forever to find our first pumpkin – one that was nice and round – and of good size.

Our first family pumpkin.

Last fall Wyatt was too little to do anything – and this year he is ready for everything. I am so excited to capture these special moments and be able to share them here. I love that this blog has become like a digital scrapbook for all of my special memories. And I’m glad that you’re here – reading along and enjoying them as well.

Has your family picked out a pumpkin yet?
