This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of LUSH Cosmetics.
It’s no secret that I love LUSH Cosmetics. I don’t have to worry about any harmful chemicals in their products and I feel safe using them when pregnant, on Wyatt, and even letting my husband use them! Visiting our local LUSH store at the mall is such a treat for me because I know I’ll be getting some awesome products – and the store smells like a dream!
I was recently sent some products perfect for pregnancy and I’d love to share them with you! I’ll show what the product looks like, give you the product description with the full details, and then tell you what I thought! Sound good? Let’s go!
Buffy Body Butter
“Massage our Buffy body butter all over your wet skin in the bath or shower to make you softer and smooth to the touch, paying special attention to your backside. We add ground rice, almonds and beans to Buffy to act as exfoliants; the rough textures eliminate lumps and bumps and sloughs away dry skin cells to reveal brighter, fresher looking skin. Rinse off the exfoliating bits and pat yourself dry. There’s no need for body lotion after a Buffy slaying session, because the cocoa and shea butters keep your skin beautifully smooth, moisturized and soft to the touch.” – LUSH.COM
Okay, this stuff is amazing. I have rough skin on my legs and this bar worked wonders smoothing out my skin. I didn’t even have to use lotion after showering – that’s how moisturizing it was! And it smells wonderful – I washed, and then used this, then rinsed a bit, and I was all set. It’s the next day and my skin is STILL soft as Wyatt’s tush.
Therapy Massage Bar
“The doctor is in! Therapy is our restorative bar of wonder. In fact, it was our first therapeutic massage bar. What makes it so effective? First, it moisturizes with cocoa and shea butters to make skin softer for a smooth massage. All of the essential oils and butters in Therapy are certified organic too; lavender and neroil combine to give this bar a heavenly herbal citrus scent. Neroli oil gives you a feeling of euphoria, especially when you have someone massaging it into your shoulders. Imagine that. Give Therapy a try and you’ll feel better in no time.” – LUSH.COM
There’s nothing better than a good foot massage when you’re pregnant. I’m constantly asking William to rub my sore, tired, achy feet. This massage bar is PERFECT for that! All I can smell when I open it is the fresh scent of lavender and it’s so relaxing. The best part is – you use SO little of the product so this is one of those purchases that will last forever. And believe me, once you smell it – you’ll want to take it home with you.
“Herbalism is best suited to those who have tried everything under the sun to clear up their oily and blemish prone skin. Here’s our fresh facial cleanser to convert you into a believer of the power of herbs! The antibacterial blend of rosemary, nettle and chamomile help clear up problematic skin. Ground rice bran acts as an effective exfoliant, while kaolin clay deep cleanses pores. Use this cleanser in combination with Grease Lightning for clear, balanced skin.” – LUSH.COM
Okay, I know I’m saying this about every product – but man, do I love this! I put a little dab in my hand, mixed in some water, and rubbed it all over my face. I worked in circular motions and made sure to focus on my problem areas (chin, forehead). When I rinsed it off my face I couldn’t believe how smooth my face was! It was so refreshing and I loved the natural smell. My skin genuinely felt clean and healthier after using this!I now have this stored in my shower for easy use and I’m going to make this a permanent part of my nightly routine!
Ickle Bath Bot Bath Bomb
“If you’re looking to rewire your little one’s energy panel so you both can get some sleep, draw them a warm bath instead of warming up milk. A modern 21st century invention, Ickle Baby Bot has been designed to mesmerize the senses with ray guns of lavender, chamomile, and sandalwood. These sleep-inducing essential oils are nature’s cure for insomnia and calming restless babes. One soak with our relaxing Bath Bomb and they’ll be happily dreaming of sheep (and Little Bo Peep) in no time. Having trouble computing yourself? You wouldn’t be the first to sneak in a ‘bot bath..”- LUSH.COM
If you’ve seen any of my Instagram posts of Wyatt taking a bath – you’re sure to have seen him using the Ickle Bath Bot at some point. He LOVES it. I run his bath water, hand it to him, and he holds it as it fizzes and dissolves into the water. It cracks him up and at the same time releases the most relaxing, calming scent. I love sticking my feet in the tub with him to get in on some of the Ickle Bot action.
