Happy Wednesday! Today I’m going to be talking about the awesome appetizers that you kind find in the frozen section from T.G.I. FRiDAY’S! As you know, the big game was this past Sunday – so I made sure I stocked up on fun snacks for the boys! There was a live demo at my local store so I went to check out all the goodies that they had to offer! You might have seen my tweets on twitter about it!

We had such a fun time going to the demo together! We were able to see everything prepared and taste everything to help decide what we wanted to purchase. We ended up choosing the Boneless Chicken Bites in the Honey BBQ Sauce and the Loaded Cheddar & Bacon Potato Skins!

For the big game I had my father-in-law over and prepared the snacks while the boys watched the game. They LOVED them!! Especially the chicken! I even added some really cute owl toothpicks to the platter so they didn’t get sauce on their hands – I’m sure they really liked the fancy/girly toothpicks, lol.

I turned the potato skins into footballs by adding using some sour cream to draw the laces! I just put it inside an icing bag and went to work! It was really easy and made the potato skins more themed for the occasion.

I really love how we can get restaurant taste at home from the oven! It’s pretty cool! Both the potato skins and the chicken cooked at the same temperature so it was easy to stick them both in the oven at the same time.
