Hello, friends!
I am SO excited about today’s post because I’ll be sharing these delicious (and easy) Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sliders! These sliders are perfect to serve on game day, or any other day of the week for that matter. They’re simple to make, hello slow cooker – and everyone you serve them to will be begging for the recipe!
As far as buns go, we use the Pepperidge Farmยฎ Bakery Classics Sweet & Soft Slider Buns. They have this amazing sweet flavor that really compliments the pulled pork. These sliders pair great with Warsteiner Beer or your favorite pilsner, too – and you can grab both at Kroger!
I served these on football Sunday and they were SUCH a hit! I just know your game day lovers are going to love them as well! You can top them with anything you’d like, extra BBQ sauce, cole slaw, and more. Now, onto the delicious recipe and photos! I love including step photos in my recipes so you can see exactly what everything should look like while you’re cooking. So check out the recipe below and comment if you have any questions!
Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Can Chicken Broth
- 1 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 Tbs salt
- 1 Tbs chili powder
- 1 Tbs ground cumin
- 1/2 Tsp seasoning salt
- 1/4 Tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 4-5 lb boneless pork shoulder
Instructions
- Slice onion, and layer on the bottom of your slow cooker
- Spread the minced garlic over the bed of onions
- Add chicken broth
- Add seasonings into bowl, mix
- Season pork shoulder with seasonings and place it directly on top of everything in the slow cooker
- Cook 6-8 hours on low
- Remove pork and onions from the slow cooker, strain out liquid
- Return onions and pork to slow cooker
- Use 2 forks to shred the pork
- Add 18 oz of BBQ sauce, stir

Yum! This next part is completely optional, but I love adding cole slaw on top of my sliders because it really adds a fun crunch element. These sliders are just packed with flavor, I can’t wait for you to try them!
Annndd now my mouth is watering, this recipe makes quite a bit of pulled pork, so you’ll have plenty for leftover sliders the next day. And, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go heat one up for lunch!
