Well, it happened.
The dreaded first haircut.
And, it wasn’t so bad.
Wyatt and I didn’t shed a single tear. Which really surprised me. I thought I would fall apart watching those baby curls fall to the floor. But I didn’t. All I could do was focus on Wyatt and how much he was enjoying it! He got to pick out his own car to sit in, and even got to pick out the movie he watched! There was a small screen that was right in front of his car and it played CARS (surprise, surprise). So, it was nothing at all like what I had pictured. It was so different and Wyatt did so well. He is growing up too fast.
How was your child’s first haircut?
Did it go smoothly?
PS: Here is where he got his haircut!
such a lovely post and cute baby..

It is great you could take him to a kid salon. I think that makes a big difference. We didn’t cut my daughter’s hair until after she was 2 but she absolutely loves getting her hair cut because it is a salon designed just for kids. They have cars to sit in and movies playing. My husband just cuts my son’s hair at home.
My little guy had his first haircut this week, too. He didn’t enjoy it as much as your guy….
