Hey everyone!
I have a quick DIY project for you today using something that’s accessible to everyone-
you probably already have one- or can easily find one at your local goodwill- a TRAY!
Here’s how I transformed mine:
{boring ol‘ tray- no pizazz to this little guy ๐ }
{First: I cut fabric to fit the base- and used Mod Podge (love the smell!) to adhere it on}
{Second: I cut out a felt “R” and glued him to the corner of the tray}
{Third: I took left-over buttons and glued them onto my felt “R”}
{Here’s a closer look!}
{Fourth: I took some ribbon and my hot glue gun and outlined the inside of the tray}
{The lines you see from the Mod Podge will go away when it’s dry}
{Fifth: Put all of your goodies back inside!}
Pretty
cool, huh? I love personalizing things!
And while we’re on the subject- I am in LOVE with this new pillow I made for my shop.
It took me a little over 2 hours to make- {I hand stitched} and I love how it turned out!
His name is
Ollie the Bird and right now he’s looking for a good home- if you like him- you can find him in the sidebar ๐
Songbirds and Pretty Trays,
Super cute! I LOVE buttons!
I just did a tray make-over here:

I think I’m going to be on the lookout for more sad old trays to makeover ๐
Thanks! I love how simple changes can make a tray so cute! I’m with you on continuing this!! ๐
