If we were having coffee today…
- I would tell you how much I am loving my job. I have never liked a job so much – to the point where I can’t wait to get started each day – and get the tasks checked off my list. I am having the chance to work with such amazing, empowering, women and they inspire me each and every day. I am so grateful for that.
- I would express my nervousness over next weeks doctors appointment, but I would also let you know that I am doing my best to stay positive – and believe that everything will work itself out.
- I would definitely tell you that I have to get my wisdom teeth removed, and that my insurance only covers the removal of one of those teeth – which means I am going to have to pay A LOT of money out of pocket for the rest. Not fun. Not fun at all.
- I would confess that I’ve been praying more than ever – just taking time to speak and confess. To ask for guidance, strength, etc.
- I would tell you that Wyatt has been peeing through his diaper, pj’s, and onto his bedding EVERY night. I have to wash all of these things every day. He’s only 16 months – isn’t that too young for overnight diapers? I guess not.
- I would also tell you that working/being a SAHM/ and going to school full-time online is really, really difficult. I can’t wait to finally finish up my degree in March. I am counting down the days!
- And… I would most definitely tell you that I am VERY excited for this weekend! My little fam is going to get family pictures taken – and we’re participating in our first ever “un-plugged Sunday”. (It’s something I made up). Basically means – staying away from the computer and just enjoying each others company for the day. I know it may sound silly – but sometimes it’s good to just get away from the computer. Do you agree?
If we were having coffee – what would you tell me?
Linking up with Alyssa @ Rags to Stitches today!
Come join the fun!
My sister’s son is a heavy wetter and she use to put two diapers on him at night when he was a bit younger. Also what a good idea to have an unplugged Sunday. I may do an unplugged Saturday!! We need it over here
You should! This Sunday is our first one – so we’ll see how it goes! But I am very excited to just turn off the computer and not type for a day! lol! Let me know if you do it too!
My daughter, who is two was having the same problem up until a few months ago. We made sure to make sure she was dry before bedtime and we cut off her liquids at 7 o clock and it works like a charm. Potty training is terrible with her because she has made up her mind that she goes potty at school but when she is at home she doesn’t, that includes bedtime too!
I have been trying to cut down his liquids too but it’s almost impossible to get him to sleep without that before bedtime bottle. He falls asleep drinking it – I’m trying to soothe him in other ways – like giving him his lovey, favorite blanket, etc – but he’s not falling for it! lol
What a great post! I’m a fellow guest blogger for Christina at Christina’s Adventures and I thought I would pop in. I love the question at the end…If we were having coffee what would you tell me? I think that’s an awesome question!!! I might have use this approach when I just want to “talk” on my blog without any tutorials!!
Christine
