Ah, today was a good day.
It was relaxing, quiet, and perfect.
It was one of those days that just felt like a breath of fresh air.
Wyatt was in such an amazing mood today! Happy, snuggly, and all smiles.
I soaked in every minute of it.

We opened the blinds and let the sunlight pour in.
We got every book off a small shelf in his room and spread them all over the floor.
And there we sat, reading each and every one together.
I’m thankful for every precious heartbeat.
And every precious breath that comes from this boy.
He teaches me something each day –
and today, he taught me to relax.
Sometimes the simplest days are the best ones.
And I really needed today.

This day was much needed after the last few! Its funny sometimes how kids are intuitive like that. I can think of several occasions where one if not both did something to make a hard day a little easier. xo-J
