Hi everyone! If you saw my post last week, you knew that I was taking the boys to see Disney on Ice! We ended up leaving Levi with his puppa for the night so we could take Wyatt. In our minds we thought Wyatt might be nervous to go – or might want to run. The show was October 16th at the Palace of Auburn Hills, MI. It was my first time out to the Palace so I was excited to go and check it out. The venue was amazing – there were different vendors inside where little ones could shop and pick out Disney merchandise. Wyatt got a mickey mouse ball cap (that he wore the whole show) and a shirt with Flounder on it.

The show itself was amazing! As soon as we walked into the big arena Wyatt’s eyes were wide open scanning the space looking at all of the bright lights, people in costume, etc. The seats were super comfortable but Wyatt was a little sleepy – he usually goes to bed around 7:30pm and it was 7:30pm when the show started – so we had to snuggle up a bit, which was fine by me!

The show was so much fun! There were so many songs, characters, and scene changes. The people that skate in those costumes are so unbelievably talented! I mean, some of those costume suits were huge! But they glided across the ice with ease! The Little Mermaid portion was our favorite, they had some great stunts, everything was super-colorful, and the whole audience was really into it!disney6

It really was a magical experience and Wyatt had a BLAST! He ended up falling asleep during the intermission so that was our cue to leave – but I’m hoping next year he can stay awake for the whole thing! ๐Ÿ™‚
