I’m going to be completely honest. I hate doing laundry. The only thing I like is throwing the clothes in the washer to get them out of my sight for twenty minutes. And if I left it up to my husband to do laundry, everything would be discolored. I still can’t tell if he makes up the whole not being able to do laundry right thing in order to get out of it. If so, he’s a smart guy. Just mess up the laundry a few times for your wife and you’ll never have to do it again – it’s a pretty brilliant strategy. But a good strategy and Suavitel Fast Dry have both shown me that laundry doesn’t have to be such a pain or take forever!
I picked up Suavitel Fast Dry at Walmart while shopping with the boys – it comes in a variety of scents (I chose the Fabulous Field Flowers scent). Just look how cheery all of the bottles are!
So are you ready to hear my laundry routine? I take all the laundry from ALL around the house and dump it all in the living room. Then I make three piles: whites, dark colors, and lights. I start with one pile and then move down the line. I hate just waiting around for laundry to be done so I do it during the day when I’ve got other things to keep me occupied.
I have been using Suavitel Fast Dry simply because it saves me time! Suavitel was developed with a unique technology that actually allows it to wick water away from fabrics which makes the clothes dry up to 30% faster! This means the laundry is done faster, because there is less drying time and it also helps save energy at home which is an added bonus.
By using this product I’ve saved both time and money. And as a busy momma, saving time – especially doing something you dislike, it just plain awesome. And what do I do with all of that time I’m saving? Spend time with my babies of course! Today we went to a local nursery to look at flowers! We are a big flower-loving family over here 🙂
Instead of being cooped up in the house doing laundry, we went out! I got our laundry done faster which gave us more time to enjoy the day together. Oh, and just in case you’re wondering – we did buy flowers – these gorgeous roses for just $6 for the dozen!
So tell me, what are your laundry tips?
What would you do with all of the extra time you’d have if you used Suavitel Fast Dry ;)?
My tip is have a separate bag for things you don’t want your hubby to dry! This system works. My hubby does laundry too in the house, but never remembers which of my things shouldn’t be dried, so now I put those items in a cotton laundry bag inside our basket. Everyone is happy and nothing gets dried by mistake!
Since my 20 mos old was born, laundry means sorting the stuff, adding some of the plant-based detergent and letting the machine do the rest. I do add a bounty dryer sheet with our clothes, but not the kid’s.
Tips? Ha. I hate laundry. Luckily my husband and I do our laundry separate… otherwise he wouldn’t have enough clean clothes while I wear my jeans a trillion times! This is awesome that it saves time! Actually, it’s amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Seems like an awesome product <3
I don’t know if I have any tips really. We do laundry CONSTANTLY. My husband hates dirty clothes, so he has the washer and dryer running all the time. Worries me about the environment.
I’m going to have to try this! I’m allergic to just about every softener, I wonder if I would be to this one too?
I haven’t heard of this detergent but it looks like a great product. I don’t mind washing and drying. It’s the folding and putting away that annoys me. Ugh — housework is no fun!
I haven’t seen fast-dry detergent (hadn’t thought of looking for it) but the washing machine I’ve been using has a fast dry cycle, I think. I may have to try it.
I am such a geek when it comes to laundry detergent! I want to try everything!
I’m all for anything that shortens the length of time I have to do laundry!
Wait, I’m confused as to how this works. Do you put the liquid stuff into the washer… or the dryer? I’ve never heard of such a thing, cool.
Fun fact about myself… when I was a freshman in college, I used fabric softener for a whole year before realizing that it was in fact softener and not detergent. Lol. SO since then I have stayed away from the fabric softener isle!
I air dry about half of the items I wash, especially my little man’s stuff. I’ve never tried this product but it sounds like magic! 🙂
I’ve never heard of this product, but I love that it helps your clothes dry faster. Saving time when it comes to doing laundry would be great. It sounds like it smells great, too!
I like the idea of it getting done faster but I will just settle for clean. Thankfully we just got a new washer and dryer and I love it!
The Accidental Mama
The time-saver part of this really gets me. I use wool dryer balls to help dry clothes faster, otherwise our washer and dryer are in the hallway and I have to walk by them often, so it’s a good reminder to get it done.
I had no idea there was a fabric softener that could help dry clothes faster! That’s really impressive.
My boyfriend is so good about doing the laundry he pretty much always does it for me. I don’t mind doing the washing, I can just never be bothered to hang it all up afterwards!
I wish I could try that! Im allergic to fabric softener but it sounds amazing!
I like to hang my clothes outside. They dry SUPER fast, and don’t shrink in the dryer. Except, in winter I have to hang them all over the house.
I don’t think we have this brand in Ireland. My other half is a bit OCD about the laundry, he prefers to do it himself rather than me touch the washing machine, lol!
Wow! This is really a great idea! I despise laundry. My husband is actually the inverse of me – he will separate laundry into a thousand piles, darks, jeans, whites, reds, lights, etc. Which seems like it makes laundry take FOREVER! I may have to try this! 😉
Wow, 30% faster drying time?! I have to check the chemicals on that thing to see if it’s safe to use… other than that, I’ll try it out!
Ugh I hate laundry! I try to do it throughout the day, as well! Seriously have about ten loads to do tomorrow. I tried to do it earlier in the week but they were doing something to our apartment laundry room so I couldn’t get in! I will have to check out Suavitel!
I totally need this! My fabric softener is kind of a joke and it drives me nuts. Thanks for sharing!
I totally need to check this out. My clothes take for flipping EVER to dry.
Have you heard of using vinegar as fabric softener? Apparently that speeds up drying too. But that could just be a Pinterest lie.
