Hope you’re having a great day so far! I am really excited about today’s post, because I’m kind of a dork when it comes to putting together gift baskets. A friend of mine recently purchased their first house and the first thing that came to mind was — GIFT BASKET! I started dreaming up what essentials I would include and I thought I’d take you along too!
I headed to Target to check out the cleaning section. Right now they have a Buy 3, get 1 free on Lysol product deal (Offer valid 3/27 โ 5/14/16) so I knew I wanted to take advantage of that! Step One | Basket
So, like all good gift baskets, you first need to find the best basket! I found this one in the clearance section of Target and thought it was too cute to pass up (I may have stuck an extra in my cart, too).
Step Two | Towels
The next thing I did was pick up a couple of cute kitchen towels. I layered them over the back of the basket to add a pop of color! I thought these striped and solid teal towels were too cute to pass up.
Step Three | Add in a few products
I picked up a variety of Lysol products, I love Lysol because products kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, so they’re a great staple for any home.
Step Four | Layer in More
I wanted to make sure I hit various areas of the home in this gift basket. And I thought it was important to include the toilet, too! I love this Lysol Click Gel our toilets, because cleaning that area is my least favorite and anything to make it easier is a win in my books! Plus, they’re pretty and purple ๐
Step Five | Don’t forget the dishes!

Step Seven | It’s all about the sponges
Making cleaning fun is so important for me. And that’s something I want to incorporate into this basket in every way possible. I don’t know about you – but when I have the choice between a boring old sponge and a fun, bright one – I go with the fun one! Levi’s favorite color is purple, and he was shopping with me at Target so I let him choose – I think he did pretty good! ๐
So, there you have it – our fun Spring Cleaning Gift Basket! Turned out pretty good, right? I just love how colorful it is – and how many areas of the home can be covered with the contents!

If you put a bottle of wine in there with the cleaning products, then I say it is a swell gift indeed! Lysol is a great disinfectant and I definitely use it int he bathroom. What a great idea!

This is such a great idea! Lysol is one of my favorite products. I don’t mind cleaning, but sometimes it can be a pain. I’m glad they have these great products to help out with cleaning.
